Ramadan A Month of Spiritual Enrichment at SAMA Mosque
RAMADAN
The South Auckland Muslim Association (SAMA) Mosque invites the community to immerse themselves in the spiritual bounties of Ramadan. This auspicious month is a time of profound reflection and increased devotion, marked by the following observances:
Fulfillment of the Five Daily Prayers: As a cornerstone of Islamic faith, the mosque provides a tranquil sanctuary for the performance of Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha prayers.
Taraweeh Prayers: The mosque comes alive with spiritual fervor during Taraweeh, a special jama'ah prayer offering a unique opportunity for extended worship and reflection.
Breaking the Fast Together: The communal Iftar meal strengthens bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood as Muslims come together to share in the joy of breaking their fast.
Seeking Divine Proximity through I'tikaf: In the final ten nights of Ramadan, the mosque opens its doors to those desiring spiritual retreat. I'tikaf is a sacred practice of seclusion and intense devotion.
SAMA Mosque extends a warm welcome to all who seek to enrich their spiritual journey during this blessed month. May Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and deeds.
