Hajj is a religious trip to Mecca that many people make every year. Umrah is a year-round pilgrimage that can be undertaken at any moment.

Because of ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that only a small number of New Zealand citizens and residents would be allowed to conduct Hajj. The Saudi government has imposed several entrance restrictions, including those that apply to religious travel. Please note that, as a result of COVID-19, the process for doing Umrah has altered substantially, therefore all passengers should read through all criteria before scheduling travel.
