About MASJID-AL-MUSTAFA
Established in 1989 by a group of Fiji Indians and groups of other Muslim immigrants, the South Auckland Muslim Association (SAMA) Mosque, also known as Jamia Masjid Al-Mustafa, stands as one of New Zealand's largest places of worship.
Completed in 2004 at 26 Mangere Road, Otahuhu, Auckland, the SAMA Mosque welcomes the Muslim community for daily salat and provides a sanctuary of peace during Ramadan. The jamaat unites for jumu'ah prayers at 12:40 PM (1:40 PM during daylight saving time).
